I have recently aquired a Garmin Nuvi 250 and it is working fine. I was looking to add some extra POI files to it.
As I can see, there are three different line delimiters, no explanation for a new customer as to which is needed, if they are all the same or not.
Can you please tell me which I need to use.
Regards
Nic

Hi
Try them all. I would be able to advise if I know what is your GPS model.
Try to make a small simple test file with our Online POI Editor.
Save it as a Garmin.CSV or Garmin GPX file with different line formats. Go to Options and select semicolon, <BR>, <LF>, etc.
Load test files with POI Loader and see what works best for you
Please note, the line format option works ONLY for the 4th and 5th CSV column (descriptions and addresses). Most Garmin users use <BR> tags and semicolons.
Here is a simple test line:
-73.9625573,40.7786566,The Metropolitan Museum of Art,"5th Avenue; Manhattan; New York"
You can click here to see this test line in the GPX POI Editor, or click here to open your own POI file: Edit my POI File.
Go to Options and change your default proximity setting, delimiters and media alert files.
Regards
