I recently accidentally dropped my Navman F series and even though there is no apparent outer damage, when i switch it on, there is a message that appears as follows:
F Series Failure
Unable to detect internal memory.
Please return the unit to dealer.
This was given given to me as a gift and when they contact the vendor 'QVC' since the purchase was over a year ago, they did not want to know.. Is there anyone out there who has had a similar problem and can offer a solution??

| I had same message - internal memory can't be found, checked out how to fix it but didn't work as memory completely wiped (no idea how) and then the memory stick went kaput and doesn't work at all. Anyone know where I can get another internal memory stick with maps?

| hi there same happened to mine. took it apart n found an internal micro sd card had fell out i put it back n happydays its good as new.. hope this helps
