Just bought a Navman f20 off ebay which arrived faulty (the guy says it was working perfectly but I'm not convinced). Anyway, no sig or to be more accurate it doesn't seem to be updating as I have had a signal a couple of times after a full reset, but once it's lost it can't be re-aquired. According to the manual if the unit doesn't get a signal it should put up an icon to indicate it's seeking, but this isn't happening so I suspect a software fault. I've downloaded SP2 from navman site but no improvement (not sure what it does anyway). Anybody know of a downloadable fix for this?

Hi,
When my f20 doesn't get a signal it shows a spinning map of the world and a ? . It also says seeking GPS.
This happens when cloudy, indoors, in tunnels, etc.

The F20 isn't the best of GPS systems, not even Navman want them back as trade-ins!
Wouldn't get another Navman, will go back to Garmin, much better unit...
