Hi to everybody just joined and was wondering if anybody out there could solve a file problem that I am having. I downloaded the POI files that I required then converted them using POI loader to get the GPI file then i go into the nuvi and find garmin poi folder and copy the relevent files into it all OK. When I turn on the GPS unit and go into extras custom POI I have got two of everything ie hotels, cameras, tourist, castles and whichever one I click on works if I then delete the relevent file ie castles I lose both even though i have only deleted one.
Any ideas?

| Make sure there are not duplicate files in the source folder. Fell into the same problem.

| As far as I can work out you do NOT want both CSV & GPX files in your folder to load on to your Garmin. Load BMP & GPX for Screen logo & detailed info or BMP & CSV for basic location info.

Hi
Thanks for help.
I have cured problem. What I do now is download bmp, cvs, gpx, and mp3 if there is one and put them in a folder and name it ie pubs, then I download other POI and do likewise into individual folders. I then use the POI installer program, remove any old POI then install new ones straight to GPS. This creates just one GPI file straight into the POI folder on GPS.
Many thanks for advice.
