| Have a Navman s35 and now after 4 months it just lost the satelite connection. It can't find one no matter what I've tried. Any suggestions other than throwing the thing away?

First thing to do is reset it. Second is restore factory settings. Also if you bought it new you have 2 years warranty so no need to throw away.

| If it is only 4 months old, it would still be under warranty, so take it back to where you purchased it and get it repaired or replaced.

There were quite a few fault complaints re some models also.
It is definitely still under warranty so have it replaced or repaired.
Good luck with either as there have been heaps of complaints re not even answering emails re warranty claims.

| Yes and remember your contract is with the shop, not the manufacturer, so just take it back and say its not suitable for the purpose purchased and they should change it for a more suitable model.
