Hi All,
my new 1490T by Garmin never shows speed limit indicator, (tested in Ontario and Quebec). Is there an unlock function or it is a defective unit,

Firstly, make sure that that model is supposed to show speed limits as not all do.
I have the 765t and it only shows a few speed limits as not all are included in the mapping.

| I think, Candian Navteq maps general do not yet have the speed data on them or at least it is very rare to see it for the moment. The same with junction view...
