I have a GPI file on my Garmin 510 and would like to convert it to a CSV file in excel on my laptop to enable me to add to it.

Does anyone know how to do this?

I included GPI to CSV, ov2 or GPI to GPX converter (online) to our Garmin POI Tools. GPI POI files can be exported and edited for use on some less advanced GPS devices.

The tools do not seem to support conversion from gpi files. Has this support been removed?

Sorry, I'm obviously missing something here. Where is the GPI to CSV converter? I can't find it on the POI Tools page. The only converters I can see are csv to ov2 or vice versa. Thanks in advance.

Both Garmin POI manager and GPX Editor for Garmin accept GPI source files. Load any GPI POI file for Garmin, edit it or simply save it in CSV, OV2, KML, LMX or GPX format.

I accidentally deleted an original CSV file with POI I need. I was amazed how easy was to recover it with this online POI Manager. The original file was successfully recovered in just a click.

The Garmin POI manager and GPX Editor for Garmin tools work fine for smaller files from .gpi to .gpx, but it will not work for larger files. I have three files I need to convert so I can use them in Basecamp & on my GPSmap 62sc. Their size rangers from 112mb to 174mb. Is there another tool that I can install locally and work on larger files, and that I don't have to pay $35 Euros for??

I am not having success with online gpx editor on large files (3.7 gb GPI file) that i need to work with. Is there a recommended program or work around for these files - I would happily pay 35 euros!
