Device rating  - Pros:  Nuvi 760 features worth paying the extra for are:
1. FM transmitter (route directions via the car radio giving increased volume for those hard at hearing)
2. Ability to download and navigate free off-road maps (Shonkey Maps and Tracks4Australia)
3.Trip Log (bread crumb trail), specially for back-tracking when you are lost on a maze of tracks
Device rating - Cons:  This is my first GPS device so my experience is limited, but the cost of Garmin map updates is an issue
