Device rating  - Pros:  Nuvi: is easy to use and the included traffice receiver helps. Maps are loaded on unit. Nice and reliable.

Droid X: should technically always have the latest map available thru google nav. One less device to carry around.
Device rating - Cons:  Nuvi: additional device to carry, traffic receiver data is not helpful at time if its on the providers radar

Droid X; needs 3G connection or map will not download. Had some freeze up with some version of Google Nav in the past. Using Nav and DailyRoads (car blockboxvideo trip recorder) kills the battery.
