Accidental deletion of the satellite connnection programme

I have just downloaded the latest UK maps at a cost of £40 but in doing so I have deleted the satellite connection programme so the indicator shows no satellites in view. I get the very annoying message "Waiting for a valid GPS signal". Does anyone know how to fix this, other than using a backup?
