The lane I live in stretches between two roads and is classified as a byway open to all traffic (BOAT). The centre section of the lane is impassable to vehicles other specialist off-roaders. Sat Navs direct drivers unaware that they cannot get through resulting in vehicles (usually delivery trucks) pulling onto my driveway to turn around. How can I get the impassable section reclassified to prevent these unnecessary events?
