2. Copy all the txt's files (no need to convert them) to the Storage card/igo8/content/speedcam/.
4. Restart iGO8, the files will automatically update the database, can take a short while because it has to build the database up.
5. Allow the device to detect a GPS signal. When this is done the speedcam locations will be active.
6. Check Settings/Warnings has Speed Camera Warning enabled.
7. You can now delete all the txt files from the /igo8/content/speedcam/ directory and just leave the two files in the speedcam directory, speedcam.spdb & SpeedcamUpdates.spud.
For an update, just add the new text file into /igo8/content/speedcam/ and start the software and it will update it for you, you can then go back and delete the text file.
Thanks for the guide - alas, when I follow the link to the speed camera files, I get lost - do I really have to download 30+ pages of individual text files?? Is there not one file for UK speed cameras / red light cameras etc??
